Vista dos Mares is a well-appointed, comfy home on the unspoiled Caribbean island of Vieques with gorgeous views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Our house sleeps 8 comfortably: 2 bedrooms/2 baths in the main house, a separate entrance 1-bedroom/1 bath garden apartment below, a separate entrance studio apartment/pool house with a full bathroom, all with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Outside, there is off-street parking for up to 6 vehicles.

Indoor and Outdoor Living
The open and airy house is designed to combine indoor and outdoor living with 4 distinct patios: the pool area with an upper and lower deck, the garden bedroom walkway and a bi-level patio off the dining room. Each outdoor area has a dining table and chairs and is surrounded by beautiful flowering hibiscus and bougainvillea.
Highlights
The highlight of Vista dos Mares is our state-of-the-art swimming pool and decks designed to fully complement the extraordinary panoramic Atlantic Ocean views. The 30-foot pool features underwater benches and a luxurious shallow “beach” area, where you can perch your chaise lounge in the water and sip your drink looking out at the ocean! Surrounding the pool is a large upper deck with ample lounge chairs, a teak dining table expandable for 8, a wet bar, glass block hot water outdoor shower, and heat-resistant lava rock deck tiles. One of our favorite hiding places is the more intimate lower pool deck where you can escape to relax on the oversized hammock. Both decks are landscaped with indigenous flowering plants, palm trees, and graceful beach grasses.
Conveniences
Some other conveniences of the house are a fully equipped kitchen with all new modern appliances, a Weber gas grill and high-speed Wi-Fi DSL access throughout the entire property and air conditioning throughout.
Information
We’ll provide you with all the necessary information to explore what the island has to offer: kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, nature tours, moonlight Bio Bay excursions, local bars and restaurants, grocery stores, who to call in an emergency. We’ll also tell you how to arrange for maid service, a private chef, tour guides, massage, yoga, etc.
